To The Facility Administrator
I am the founder of the Old Time Radio Foundation (OTRF), a New Jersey non-profit corporation, IRS-approved 501C3. Our mission is to provide old time radio shows from the 1940’s and 1950’s, loaded onto MP3 players, tablets of all sizes from 7″ to 18.4″. The tablets will enable your residents to be able to view 1930’s, 1940’s, and 1950’s full-length movies. Each resident will have the ability to select a minimal number of movies pre-loaded on the resident drive of the tablet OR request pre-loaded full-movies in excess of approximately 4000. This will vary according to the resident and the sponsor of your facility. We offer not only full-length movies of the era, but, also, TV shows of the 1950’s. These TV shows and full-length movies will, certainly, remind your residents of their earlier years, a few generations ago.
Relative to what OTRF offers, for example, movies radio shows, and TV shows, each medium could be a different drama, i.e., comedy, detective, drama, music, et cetera OR by performer, i.e., only Clark Gable, Lena Horne, John Wayne, et cetera, movies.
Our purpose in writing to you is to arrange an appointment so we can further explain our services and what we can bring, at no cost to your facility or the residents. We are a volunteer based non-profit organization. One hundred percent of donations go towards our mission. We have no salaries, no overhead or rent and no contracts that would bind us. Our only assets are our volunteers and our determination to enhance the lives of the residents of your facility.
The old time radio episodes and movies are downloaded onto MP3 players and tablets that we provide. No wifi or bandwidth is consumed and we do not use Bluetooth. There would be no expense incurred by the facility.
We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
